Eligibility Criteria – Become a Speaker at NIER Conferences

The National Institute for Engineering and Research (NIER) welcomes experienced educators, researchers, and professionals to apply as speakers for its upcoming academic conferences. Speaking at a NIER conference is a valuable opportunity to share your knowledge, enhance your professional reputation, and contribute to India’s academic and research community.

Eligibility Criteria

You are eligible to apply as a speaker if you:

  • Are a faculty member, researcher, postgraduate student, or industry professional
  • Have expertise in any relevant field or area of study
  • Have completed at least a postgraduate degree (such as M.Tech, MBA, M.Sc., etc.)
  • Possess subject knowledge and communication skills in English
  • Have previous experience in delivering academic talks (preferred but not compulsory)

Role of a Speaker

As a speaker, you will:

  • Deliver a 10–15-minute presentation during the conference
  • Present your ideas or research clearly and professionally to an academic audience
  • Join Q&A sessions and interact with participants
  • Represent your institution or organization in a professional capacity

Responsibilities

Once selected, speakers are expected to

  • Submit a short abstract or topic summary for review
  • Share presentation slides and your profile by the deadline
  • Follow the guidelines and schedule provided by the organizing team
  • Ensure that your content is original and plagiarism-free
  • Be available for a technical check (for virtual sessions)
  • Attend and present during the scheduled session without delay
  • Respond promptly to communication from the NIER team
